The PaPRIKa toolbox is a collective project developed by the UMR EMMAH and supported by the SNO Karst, the Sorgues Basin Joint Association and the PACA region.
PaPRIKa is a multi-criteria method for mapping the vulnerability of karst aquifers (Dörfliger and Plagnes 2009, Kavouri et al. 2011). Its implementation requires the analysis and cross-processing of several layers of spatial data, under GIS software (Dörfliger et al 2012, Marn et al 2012, Marn et al., 2015).
The PaPRIKa plugin for QGIS allows a step-by-step application of the method steps to generate the Protection (P), Infiltration (I), Reservoir (R) and Karstification criteria. (Ka) as well as the vulnerability index obtained by crossing these 4 criteria. The use of the plugin:
